Body Parts

What's the best place to get body parts(besides the morgue)? I need a new front end on a 85 pickup I just bought. Thanks.

Ben

Junk Yard, E-bay, Craigslist, Auto parts store. You can get parts everywhere, just gotta look for them.

Yeah, but I could probably get old steel parts to do an entire front end for what a pair of 'glass fenders.

Thanks for the the useful links. I am going to order new from Best deal I think. The front end is all smooshed back. At least now it will be easier to work on the suspension when I cut off all of the carnage. I will post pics of the project.

Here is the link to what I am working with.

https://www.yotatech.com/gallery/sho...o=2723&cat=500

I have two (new to me) Toys. One with a good RE engine with a crunched front and one that has a good front with a bad head. The accountant says I have to fix the daily driver first. Dang bean counter. The little white guy will be put back together soon with some further modifications.
I will keep my progress posted.

Thanks again for all the positive feedback. I will be using the search function a lot in the upcoming weeks.

Phildelfino: I just found out there is a certifit shop here in New Orleans. I mentioned the link to my neighbor and he gave me directions to the place. Thanks for the tip.
