Anyone want to help me do my axle seals?

Hey everyone,

My left axle seal seems to have gone south this week. There is oil leaking out of the hub and onto the wheel. I am starting a job in Ft. Collins area next week and will be camping/working there for a few months. I will not have a garage and I was wondering if anyone in the Northern CO area is interested in letting me use their garage and/or helping me put in new seals! Thanks in advance

Abe

I'll help ya! Just drive it up here to WA, and I'll put em in this weekend

Sounds like you will need a few knuckle rebuild kits. Better to do it all while you are in there.

that's not that hard to do, if it's warm and sunny outside you can do that in a few hours. yes deathcougar is right, get a knuckle rebuild kit and you'll have evetything needed to do both sides

A few hours if you have everything together and know what you're doing. I'd say for the first time tearing into your knuckles, plan ATLEAST a full day if you're going to disassemble and clean everything, like you should. A great learning experience though. Also, can't go wrong with the marlin hd seals.
