anyone use a aftermarket coil on a 22r?

anyone use a aftermarket coil on a 22r?

I was just curious if anyone has picked up any gains I already have ngk plugs and wires.

are you selling that truck? thought i saw it on craigslist the other day. Most of these guys will tell you to stay stock with denso or ngk. i've used both on my 22re. I'm currently running msd wires ngk plugs and msd coil. honestly i don't see any difference. Then again i think your truck is carbed so it might make a difference. If any it'll be slight and prob. not worth the money.

I have a mallory racing coil..

no difference noticed.. except now I have the stock one for a spare.. still mounted

I have a Crane LX91 in my 22r, with stock carb. I did notice a bit of a difference, seemed to run smoother.
