Alternator Ground

Truck: '85 22R, 5spd.

So I had my battery short against the body a while back, burned up a couple ground wires including the one for the alternator. I made a new wire but I took it a apart a couple weeks before I got around to that and I've forgotten where it attaches at the fender. I know one end is bolted to the power steering pump and that the other goes to the fender somewhere because there was other wiring connected to it then hooked to a little resistor looking piece next to the igniter. It's got a lug that has to be bolted somewhere but the only lug I have over there has the alternator's charge wire run through it, and grounding that doesn't make any sense. Truck doesn't charge without it in there, I know that much. Where do I hook this thing to to get my charging system back online? I can't find it in any wiring diagrams I've looked at for the truck (In both my crap manual and on alldata)

There is no alternator ground. Here's a conversion article which lists all the wires that should go to the alternator.
