First thing to do is unplug the ECT unit, it's under the radio.


and do a manual shift. L is first, 2 is third and D is overdrive. You loose 2nd gear because you killed 1 & 2 shift solenoids. This test will let you know if you have a solenoid problem. You also are disengaging the lockup solenoid, #3.

 

thanks for the reply, but if you follow my uper post, i made all these test a while ago, i am now digging into the valve body since everything else has been made

-new ect
-new solenoids
-all gears are present when ect is disconnected so no burnt bands or clutches
