94 2wd Bumpstops
#1
Hi all,
I've learned a lot about my pickup on this forum but I've searched and couldn't find any answers to what the stock clearance is supposed to be for the upper front bump-stops on my 2wd pickup (the ones that touch when the wheel droops). I've thought about cranking in the T-bars for a little lift but the upper stops are already almost touching.
How much space is there supposed to be between the upper stops and the control arm (or whatever that piece is called)? How about between the lower stop and the control arm? When I get new shocks, will it ride better it I trim the tops off the conical bum-stops? Does anyone have a photo?
Thanks,
JL

I would love to see a pic too.. I'm having rubbing issues on my 2 wheel drive with 14 inch tires!.. I would love to 15's on it but with it rubbing already , I'm scared to try it without doing something
