93 4 runner with an 88 alternator.

well i just pulled out the broken 88 alternator the previous owner installed in my 93 4runner and i noticed the plugs are different the 88 is a round and my new 93 style is oval with 3 smaller prongs, i simply need to know which wires go to which prong.... a pic would be great. and yes i have used search, and google

just match the colors.... I put a alternator from a 89, on my 93, and all I had to do to wire in the harness was match the wire colors.... dunno if the colors are different from 88-89, but I'd suspect they r the same.

I got a round plug style on my 94 (actually off a 4 cyl Corolla if I remember right, just with 3.0 brushes in it... don't ask). Colors are the same wire wise, just cut and match
