91 22re head on a 81 22r block

so hears the deal i have an 81 toyota pickup with a 22r i came across a 91 22re intake and head cheap and have the computer on the way but my question is will the 91 22re head work on a 81 22r block?? ive heard yes and no bothways ne one ever try this? ne help would be thanked

yea i was hoping someone had actually tried it and it magically worked well crappers so now im kinda curiouse to c the result lol so what do u think increased compression to the point of blowing constant head gaskets or valve damage??
