86-87 auto ex cab swap on 84 reg cab with re swap help

Hello I have the cab fully mounted and re running but I used the cluster from my 84 cab (not sure if orig) because it had the tach, oil, temp, volt guages and the auto just had speedo and fuel and temp.

Well the speedo and volt works. Oil psi stays at 0. Fuel gauge is way pegged ( even with fuel sender discontented. And the temp starts off just under half then goes to red when warmed up.
And tach doesn't work.
Cab and all wiring from 86-87 its auto cab. 82 22r with 83 head with efi stuff on it. (Still need a knock sensor)

And ideals would be helpfill

You are using the wrong oil pressure sending unit on the block, the SR5 cluster requires a different sender.

Here is a link you may find helpful for the swap:

It has the round style where the plug slides sideways on it.

It sounds like your building one similar to what I recently bought. Mines a extra cab, not sure what year, on an 84 sr5 standard cab frame with a flat bed. Under the hood is what I think is the 84 motor with 86-87 FI, harness, ecu, etc. It was built as a crawler and needs some tlc. I'm still going through it, trying to clean it up and figure out what I have, Im not familiar with these older toyotas and the po wasn't the one who built it.

You should post some pics when you can. I'll be interested to see how yours turns out, sounds like your off to a good start.
