85 sfa with superwinch hubs problem

Hey guys i searched and searched the forums and couldnt find my problem let alone the answer... MY PROBLEM IS, WHILE IM DRIVING IN 2wd, HUBS UNLOCKED MY DRIVER SIDE HUB CLICKS A BIT AND CHANGES ITSELF INTO 4X4 MODE.... I HAVE AN AUSSI LOCKER IN IT WITH STOCK AXLES AND SUPERWINCH HUBS.... ANY IDEAS OR ADVISE

I would just recommend that you go back to the stock aisin hubs.

x2, re install a set of Aisin hubs...
if not pull your hubs and inspect them...you might find a busted hub ring or other internal part that has been fubbared..

Hub isn't disengaging probably due to busted internal parts.

Ok I will pull it apart today and check it out.... It feelsLike it does disengage when I turn it to 2x4 then it rattlles pops and then I can feel the difference in 4x4... I'm gonna pull it apart now

WELL I PULLED IT APART AND COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING THAT IS DAMAGED??? IM TRYING TO KEEP THESE BECAUSE THEY MATCH THE TRUCK, I KNOW IT SOUNDS SILLY. IF ALL ELSE FAILS BACK TO STOCK I GO

STOP YELLING!!!!! Seriously though go back to stock and if you really need it to match paint the dials and hubs of a stock set and your set. Post some pics of these hubs if you could as to why they match the truck. I'm just curious.

cool rig. Hard to tell but i bet you can mod a set of stock hubs to get them to match and have a stronger, tougher set than the super winch hubs. Just my 2 cents.
