85 4x4 with 22r carb

the heads went out i have water in my engine what would be the best thing to do

First off welcome to Yotatech. This is a very broad based question, we have a folder for first timers call Newbie Tech for questions just like yours.
A 22R also only has one head. Water in the oil could be from a cracked block, blown head gasket to name just a few. It all depends on your mechanical skills. You could pull the head and see what you find. Rebuild the engine yourself or have a remanufactured engine installed.

It could be a blown head gasket or a bad timming chain, those are the most common problems on these motors.
