Mine's an '84 and my rear seat belts are not the same as the front. The rear of mine is 3 lapbelts. The rear seats have a deep pocket in the side panel and the lap belts are next to the deep pockets. Hope that helped. I can take a pic later if you need me to.

Here's some pics to help my poor description. Hope it works. I never used photobucket before but hear it's the thing to use.

The belts are only set up under the side pockets if you have side pockets. Otherwise they are bolted beside the seat. The SR5 models have the side pockets, the Deluxe models do not. At least this is true for 84 and 85 models.

If you look at the photo in post 3, that's all you will be able to see, even with the seat lifted. The belts bolt in behind that side panel. Remove the side panel and it will be pretty obvious how they bolt in.

If you do not have the side panel with the storage bucket then your seat belts will be different and will bolt into a different location. Do you have the storage bucket (above the seat belt in the photo)?

Front seat belts in the rear. The same bolts from the front fit in the roll bar.
The floor bolt fits in side panel.

Yes, same bolts fit in rear. The floor mount from the front goes in side panel, where SR5 retractable bolts up. My 86 has deluxe interior panels so this is where the floor mount goes.

and it works with the bikini top.

Those are great photos. I have that same color Deluxe interior. I'm assuming that you put the SR5 seats in yourself? I did the same thing in the rear. I tossed the bench seat and installed the SR5 seats but was lucky enough to get the SR5 side panels and seat belts.

FWIW, my original bench-seat seat belts just bolted straight to the floor bolt that you are now using to hold the bottom of your shoulder belts.

Does anybody know what, if there is any, is the difference between the deluxe and SR5 rear bench seat stopper for the upright seat back. My very basic seat uses a bolt sticking out of either side of the back to latch onto. It doesn't look factory and it doesn't work well either I really want a better back seat. Shoulder belts would be sweet too. Can a cover be put on the retractor on that rear seat set up?

My deluxe rear seat (all deluxe rear seats were port installed) had a tab on the side with a slot and a tab on the seat on each side that went into the slot and locked with a clip pin (bolt would have worked also). I was also worried about how to latch the rear seats with SR5 rear seats. I bought some from a breaker yard and made sure that I bought the seats, all hardware, rear belts and rear side panels. The SR5 seat hardware has a side braket that will bolt into the place where your deluxe tab was installed and the seat itself has the latch built in. It's basically all factory if you get everything that I mentioned above.

Also, this conversion is very very easy and self explanatory. Very difficult to screw up!
