Anyone ever have a hub housing catch on the end of the axle while trying to pull it off? Dumb question but what am I missing? Need more coffee I guess….thx in advance

I am making an assumption, because I am not there with my hands and eyeballs.
I think from what you are describing that the inner bearing's inner race is stuck on the spindle.
Did the outer bearing come out?
if you have already removed the outer bearing you should be able to pull on the hub until the inner seal pops out of it and it comes off of the inner bearing and spindle.
Stupid questions,
Did you remove the brake caliper?
Did you remove the locking hub?
Did you remove the bearing retaining nuts?

I’ve removed the caliper and outer hub cover and snap ring. Next is the hub locking housing that seems to be catching on the end of the axle. Don’t wanna damage it just curious if there was a “trick” lol.

Looks like you have the snap ring off at the splined end. Hard to see for sure in the pic. If it is off, it "should" slide off. I see the cone washers are off and it looks like it's separated at the gasket. Must be a burr or something at the splined end? Try carefully prying back at the gasket to push it off the end.

What he said^^
you could also try "gently" driving the axle shaft in until the hub housing comes off, you might need to put something behind the hub housing like a thick plastic spatula or similar while tapping on the end of the axle.
It would be helpful to know if the axle has indeed moved inward slightly since you took the snap ring off, like Az said, you likely have a burr or mushrooming of the splines at the very end of the axle.
