85 4runner dlx

finally got my 4runner today took 12hrs to plow and clear the roads and towing it down the mountain but it is finally at my house...

has stock front springs, crazy rear shackle, dlx interior, needs a motor and tranny... I already have a G52 5speed to throw in it and and a few other parts to build it...

plans are:
get it running/driving throw my 32 BFG MTs on it weld the rear while Im working on the motor replace the rear shackle with ether stock or longer if I decide to lift it as of now the front is stock and rear has a 12" shackle... prolly do a 3" procomp lift or if I can figure a way to run RUF with stock steering ill do that truck will be my DD and my 81 will be my trail rig...

will post more pics tomorrow

she was free so its worth a shot...

the guy I got it from changed out the front clip and its held on with sheet metal screws and strap so
Im gonna pull it and weld it and get some white fenders fix the driver door window/regulator and find a new rear gate and then she just needs a motor and some other things and she should be good till I find more to do... I want this to be a presentable DD nothing speacil and dont want to spend to much wanna see how much I can do with out spending much...

so far spent:
gas to tow home = $30
truck = FREE
G52 tranny = FREE
rear drive shaft = FREE

need:
motor (intake)
battery
alt
radiator
front drive shaft
lock out hub
tail gate
fenders
bumper
grill
and more but will find as I go

spent the last 3 days getting the 84 stripped and parts ready for the 4runner... got the motor and tranny in the 4runner used a friends backhoe to do it and make the job go faster and easier... the 84 cab is completely bare and off the frame hauled away for scrap going to use the bed and frame to make a trailer, excited about that... any ways here are pics
