84 Pickup good deal?

Ok, assuming the frame isn't all rusted out and it runs decently, is this a good deal? http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...=en&cardist=34

I believe this year is still carburated correct? Seems a decent deal to me for a SFA yota, opinions?

for what you get there, not a bad deal at all. hell, those boggers probably run $1000 new for the set.

heres an 84 4wd i just picked up for 250 bux wth a blown 22r engine. already have a complete 22re with all the efi parts and ecu torn down and heading to the machine shop. the original tall deck block is still in it and appears to have been a blotched up shadetree rebuild or timing job. it was missing the oil pan and center main cap.?????? i checked out the transfer case and tranny s well as the rear end and theres not too much play in either axel. honestly if the project goes south ill be able to sell the axels and transfer case for that much if not more.

those deals aren't really typical, your usual '85 is up around $2k now around here. i remember when you could find 4x4 toys for under $1500 all day long in this area, not the case now.

samurais used to be the same way...used to be you could hardly even get people to buy them after all the bad press they had for being tippy, now they seem to be worth their weight in gold.
