84 fender cutting

I was wondering if anyone had some pics of how they cut their fenders.

Thanks

I don't have any pictures of cutting them, just finished pictures.

Here is the front, only had to trim the back edge to clear the tires.

This shot shows the back fender, I cut up about 1.5". And being a 4runner, had to rework the inner fender, and weld the two back together. I bent up a length of 1/4" steel rod to follow the fender line and welded the sheet metal to that.

Back tire stuffed

And front tire, I have bump stops up front.

Wab, your firewall tubbing pictures were very motivating A few weeks ago when I had to clearance mine, I stared at your pictures all day while I was at work. As soon as I got home, I cut some big holes! flexed the truck with the tires cranked and checked for clearance again, no more rubbing.

Glad they helped.

Nothing left but a frame of that 4Runner, waiting on my Ftoy chassis.

Won't have to worry about fender trimming.

Looks like you trimmed quite a bit off yoder. Thanks for the pics, gives me an idea of what I want to do. Did you roll the fender so it won't cut the tires or just leave it?

recommend that you start small and work your way out.. easy to take off more, harder to put it back
