22re rod bearing question

Replacing a rod bearing. Ordered a set of king bearings but the old bearings have Lip around the outside, keying the bearing side to side. The new ones do not. Is this gonna be an issue? If so, educate me on where I can find a set like that..... my research has come up with nothing.

Old bearing on the left.... look close and notice the lip on both edges. ..

Appears the old bearing has pounded out and spun.
The connecting rod that bearing came out of is ruined and a new bearing will not hold up.
Your new bearings are correct and there is no other type.
I'd expect that the crank. journal is damaged as well.

Yeah, I know it won't hold up. It's just a bandaid for a mountain only truck, it'll never see any pavement or speeds over 20mph. If it makes it through summer I'll be happy.

I was able to locate a part number on the old bearings and confirmed they are the same. Thanx for helping anyways. You just confirmed what I had concluded.

Might cost you an engine block to try and run it.

Good luck

If that con rod breaks, and there's a fair chance it will, it'll put a big hole in the block.

That could be said for any of the cylinders. Given what the truck is used for, I'll take my chances.
