22RE Cam ? and front brake conversion on 85
Since I have the truck stripped down to the frame and everything is getting redone and gone through for now, besides the engine and transmission since they seemed find the little while I drove it after I bought it recently. I got bored watching my frame paint (primer) to dry and pulled off my valve cover to see the condition of my top end. More or less just looking for sludge or excessive cam lobe wear etc. Pulled it to find the valves/cam looking like this
I thought it was very clean and must have had a recent rebuild. Building multiple motorcycles engines the cam lobes don't look worn at all. Had great power etc. Just wondering how to tell if it's got the stock cam or an aftermarket one of some sort.
Also my other question that I've been researching for about a week now is converting my 85 SFA hubs to 86+ IFS hubs. There are a bunch of different ways of doing this and I'm not sure if anyone likes one over the other one. Seems like to each his own.
Are there any of the rotors that bolt right in without drilling modifications similar to the FJ60.
