22re block question

Found a 22re block on CL. It came out of his buddies 92 and thinks it was the original engine . It's been cleaned, honed, and painted. He says there is a small ring or lip at the top of cylinder where the piston would be at the top of it's stroke. Is that a problem. He also gave me the block numbers of 3312448. Will this block accecpt all the goodies off my 85re?

yep .. the lazer blocks are the same from 85-95 ..
top ring ridge should be eliminated .. sounds like it needs a bore to me . not a big deal , .0010 over would round the cylinders again most likely , and be just fine .. If you do buy it .. i would absolutly have a machine shop check it out !!
