I threw a rod here while back on in my 85 22r. Bought a 89 22re carbed and installed it. My question is I know there is a hp difference between the two and I know the 22re has a slightly different cam profile than the 22r. My question is even though I carbed the 22re will it still produce the slight difference in hp between the two. Reason I ask is because to me there seems to be a quite noticable difference in power used to I hardly ran 5th gear now I can run 5th uphill. What do yall think.
