If you have bucket seats you could build a sub box center console. If not, you should get bucket seats and build a sub box center console.

x2

lmao

You can fit them behind the bench seat but it's a PITA and you'd be forced to have the seat pretty far forward.

I had a buddy install some sweet custom boxes behind his buckets in a nissan standard cab that turned out looking and sounding awesome.

Buckets are your best bet for putting anything in that cab. They allow a lot more space behind the seat to fit something.

The 8" Kicker solo-baric is the perfect cantidate for this application. It needs very little airspace. I used 1/8" cold rolled for the box and 3/16" for the front. The box protrudes through the cab with about 1/2" between the box and bed. It's all laser cut and tig welded. This is in an '83.

I put a walmart sub behind my seat and it fits fine with the seat all the way back. They have a 10 inch in a truck box for 50 bucks.

i got a tall slim truck box with a 10'' alpine(ithink its an alpine)with 350 watt amp under the seat. fits fine behind my seat and i can put the seat almost all the way back. Just make your own tall slim box. dust off the algebra in yer brain look on the internet for how much volume the box needs for your sub and. wallla good sounding box that lets you move your seat back.

The hardest part is measuring the clearances and angles of the cab, bed, and seats. After that you just get it laser cut and tig it together. If there is enough interest I may make a few.
