1984 ex cab sr5 LIFT questions

So i finally sorted out MOST of my grimlens with the truck to where i can drive it on the street and I would like to lift the truck. Nothing crazy , I wanna clear 33's and possibly 35s. My questions are as follows.

I was thinking a bodylift + shackle combo and I should clear them without much problem.

My question is what size bodylift can you go with WITHOUT having to length'n your gas nozzle , steering , brake lines and such.

And how much shackle is TO much shackle?

i dont believe in body lifts more than 1 inch. why not just get new leafs? just some shackles and you should be able to clear 33's

What size shackle am i going to need to clear 33's? A link for front and rear shackles of the correct size would be greatly appreciated.

And although new leafs would probably greatly help my ride and be a good solution...I honestly dont feel like doing the work to be honest. Not lazy but a 20yr old truck + florida = a pain in the ass with rust. The shackles arnt to hard.

Pick. Big difference in 33s and 35s in what needs to be done.

33s can be done with body lift, 5" shackles and a sawzall.

35s is more involved.

I ran 33s on my stock 4runner and never had an issue, and I evem cleared 35s after massaging the firewall some and fiximg my saggy rear, it was when I tried for 37s that I would have had to cut or lift the truck even my 81 I can clear up to 35s stock

On what size rim were you clearing these? and With what offset? Ive heard storys of a 35 on a 8" wide rim clearing but not 10 or 12 inch wide rims like a larger tire should be on.

No body lift and running 36's. But I do have both driveshafts worked over, springs and on the front angled blocks to help out with the driveshaft angle. But 40's dont rub either. It all depends on how much money your wanting to spend. The bigger the tire, the bigger the lift, the harder your truck will have to work on the highway.
