acts the same as a buggy leaf...gives you some great droop and makes it very interesting when you are going down hill, like you are gonna endo

Does the front of the red bracket pivot? Allowing the spring that much more room to droop?

Never seen one of those before.

IIRC he has those "shackles" bolted up for driving on the street..then when he needs the flex..he unbolts them to give some UH-MAZING flex..lol

there was another guy with a similar set up that had like some 5in marlin springs and a BIG shackle thing like that..and he got BOOOKOOOS of flex...im talkin ALOT..like over 40"...

the bolt is probably for driving on the street and gets unbolted when you reach the trail

Must give insane droop. I like the idea better than the cantilever system. Bolts up for daily driving.

while it can be effective on the trail to have added droop, that much droop would be scary. as you can see, he's wheeling with it bolted still. hit the brakes hard enough or drop down a steep incline (like ocdropzone last sunday!) and that thing will unload and open up, making you lose control or even flopping you on your lid.

they also make revolver shackles, or you can run a double shackle setup. i'll be running double shackles on mine with 63" springs, but its maximum unloaded droop is only 3-4 more inches. much safer then what is pictured.
