I am thinking about the welding route what do you think would be a good price for someone else to do them?

if its a trail only rig lots of people run welded on both ends...

all traction or none!!

turning not included lol

if it sees any road or snow use you cant use 4wd
depends normally should be more than 75-100 bucks to weld a 3rd... i paid 100 but he put new pinon in it..bought the 3rd of craigs list for 40 so i could keep my open

i would not weld either diff! your just gonna tear something up and have to pay more to fix it than what a locker costs, ive seen to many blow them selves up, all welded by some of the best welders ive ever seen. just my 2 cents, but for just a couple hundred and you get much better quality/performance.

With the money you save on having your front differential welded you might want to consider (linky) Trail Gear's New $149 Twin Stick so you will be able to turn still easily when in 4WD....

The 83's gonna be a trail rig and I thought about doing my 90 DD just the rear. I'm not worried about tire wear or anything on the trail rig so thanks for the help.

my trail rig is going to be locked in the front too, that is why I bought a twin stick so I would be able to turn with out breaking axles.
