Weber owners,was it worth it?
I am looking at addinig either the 32/36 dgev or the 38 dges to my 20r that will have a header on it by then.
Question to weber owners/previous owners:
Was it worth the $ to convert from the stock carb and what were the benefits? Power/mileage etc.
Thanks,
Ryan

80 Mini, I would go with the 32/36 unless you are going with cam, header, hotter ignition, and maybe a little head work. If not I think you will be over fueling the engine with the 38. Just my thought though. A good friend of mine put a weber carb on his CJ-7 and said it was worth every last penny!

it's worth it in terms of tuneability. if your stock one is working fine, i wouldn't mess with it. i've modified my engine to the point that it needs more fuel to run right, my stock carb wasn't cutting it.
some recommendations: use an electric fuel pump with a lower pressure output(webers like around 2-3lbs, rather than the 4-7 that the mechanical one puts out), and try to find a 1 piece adapter plate.
