wag springs up front?

anyone used wagoneer springs up front? i have plenty of them (i'm a FSJ guy at heart) and found the front eye to center pin is only 1/8 " farther forward then stock front springs. the entire spring is 47" long, just like the rears. i have a set of extended shackles on some lifted rears that were used on the front of another first gen... but i'm hesitant to have to cut the front fender from the axle being a full 2" farther forward. would these work better?

also, do i need to change the bushings or will they bolt up?

Al

Lots of guys run em with good results. In fact the feature truck in this months Toyota 4WD owner is running them.
