Vacuum Advance Question

I am running a weber 32/36. There are 2 hoses coming off the dist. Which one should I hook my carb up to? I have seen some pics with them hooked up to the forward one. Do you just plug the unused hose?

Use in the inner diaphragm, the one closest to the motor.

No need to since it won't cause a vacuum leak.

You may want to check the operation of the inner diaphragm on the vacuum advance can. The inner one on my 84 went bad 5 years ago. Pull a vacuum on the diaphragm by using a vacuum pump or just suck on the vacuum hose and put your tongue over it. It should hold perfect vacuum indefinitely.
