ok, i need help those links didnt get me anything, so im just wondering what to do? im getting 11mpg with 33s on 4.37 gears, i figure i should be getting about 15. ive changed out the plugs, air filter, changed the oil. so what am i missing besides the distributor cap and wires? i mean those wont really give me a 4mpg increase will they?

Is it a webber or a stock carb? If it is stock unbolt it from your manifold and throw it as far as possible, then get a webber or some other carb that can actually be tuned. Old stock carbs are crippled with emissions "stuff" and are way to complex. If its a webber call lc engineering and tell them what your running they should be able to get you in the ballpark and send you the right jets. Yeah the cap and wires make that big a difference.
