Toyota springs

I have a 81 toyota pickup that I plan on putting 63" chevy rears in. What springs should/could I use for the front?

did you use chevy springs in the rear or a 3" lift spring, or doesnt it not matter because they would be about the same? do you need to make shackles or anything?

^ you forgot to mention it moves your axle 2" forward which means you will need Hi-Steer, a longer front driveshaft and ditching the torque arm not to mention the pinion angle too. RUF swap isnt as cheap as most say, PLus with the 63" chevy rear springs you wont see any lift unless you add 3" lift blocks and mega shackles, I have to admit the trucks ride really nice with them though and flex like no other.

do they only improve ride/flex ability and no lift? what if you used a dual shackle set up, or is that not the way to go? what about using the stock chevy shackle in there too?

is there a setup where you wont have to switch to Hi-steer or change anything up front?

but the axle is moved about 3-4in forward and you will need highsteer. the chevy springs will give some lift my freind chris has RUF and chevys and his truck looks a little low in the back but not bad

Chevys give about 3" if they are in good shape.
RUF and chevys are cheap when compared to a lift kit.
