Hi, I am almost done restoring my 80 longbox and I need to know where to get the vynil lettering for the "TOYOTA" on the tailgate. If anybody has a source for this...thanks in advance!

That's pretty cool that such a thing is available. I don't want to spend $210 to decal up my runner though...
I'd rather be decal-less and emblem-less but that's just me

Most local "sign" shops should be able to produce lettering and stripes if needed in any given dimensions and color on vinyl.

find someone that will let you take dimensions for the lettering and just tape it off.

i've bought some decals from him, really helpful guy. he was quick to respond to my emails and i sent him some pics of my tailgate to make sure i got a good color. good instructions for application with the stickers too. he's worth the money if you really want decals.

I got a TOYOTA decal at a local sign shop for my old 89 2wd after I had it painted for $20, it was heavy duty 3M material and looked great, just take a pencil and take some measurements because you only get one shot at getting it on strait and centered! On my 88 Im going to go with a Taco toyota emblem instead of the decal once I get my new tailgate painted!
