On my '80 I have no tach.... I have one on the 83.... the thing is I want to have one on the 80 but there is no wire on the igniter like the 83... what other wire could I come off of or am I gonna have to get a igniter off of a 80 that came with
the tach from the factory? The dash on my 80 is mint so I don't want to cut it all up, therefor ill be looking at aftermarket tachs.... thoughts/opinions?

 

On an aftermarket tach, you run the wire from the negative (distributor) side of the coil.
