Surging brakes on an 83 longbed
Whenever I come to a stop I can feel a surge in my brake pedal and feel the truck's brakes grab intermittently until I come to a stop. It will do it at high and low speeds, unless I really put my foot in it. I just changed the shoes and wheel cylinders a few weeks ago, bled the rear a few times, but my master cylinder is wicked old and I'm not sure of the condition of my booster either. Any suggestions?

It's the ABS kicking in, don't sweat it!
Get those rotors turned. While you're at it, you might as well replace your front bearings because you have to snatch all that out to get the rotors off.
