stock suspension sit level?

My 80 is pretty much bone stock and I plan to leave it that way. My son pointed out that the front sits lower than the back.
Did first gens sit level when they were new?

They start to sag over time. They started out concave (curved upwards) like the rears, then they go flat and eventually slightly convex. I think Old Man Emu has a low lift/stock spring available here: http://www.rocky-road.com/old-man-em...ta-pickup.html
My '80 sags in the front too and its a tad bit convex, so I'll need to fix that eventually.

All pick ups sit higher in the rear for the payload. It's rated to carry 1000 lbs, so its going to sit high in the rear while unloaded.

Ans the front springs were pretty much flat when new, almost no curve, or so I heard.
