Rebuild the motor. Repaint it but leave it stock. No blingage. No low profile tires. But you can lower it. Leave the exhaust system stock, but add a cutout right after the manifold....

Then supercharge the beast.

I was talking to my dad, turns out he had a 77 Hilux in the late 80's, he said its best vehicle hes ever had, 20R, 4spd said it never had a single problem besides the shocks needing replacement.. drove it all over the place, few trips down through California, all over B.C. Wish he didnt sell it because ive only ever seen 1 on the road.

 

Ry you gotta see if you can get some progator tires to fit under that thing !!
