On my truck: denso part 88650-89113. Saw one for sale on ebay but they indicate same part number as the 1989 pickups...Toyota dealer says they show a different part number for amplifier than the one in my truck for $280 (What the...) But that my part no is for a 1989 (for $50+) I looked up 89 part and it’s the exact match for mine but I can't see the actual part to confirm it fits.
This one also matches: TOYOTA 4RUNNER PICKUP T100 AC AMP STABILIZER AMPLIFIER 88650-89113 (@yota YARD)
Update: I've tried 3 amps (2 were exact p/n, one for 90s trucks)- all receive power from ignition but no power out - Anybody know of a place that troubleshoots /repairs these?
Update2: Understand testing resistance to the clutch coil may be a smart move.(Should be 3.5 ohms +- .2 ?) I'm a 2-wire electrician but will look into this - comments from the brain trust welcome.
