I have an 81 Toyota pickup and i'm wondering what seats from other yotas will bolt into place of the factory holes if there are any that is

Just picked it up and it needs new seats.

i know alota people use four runner seats they say their realy nice if you get some of the sr5 kind and some people use rav 4 seats to (imagine some lexus seats in that thing )

I put bucket seats from an '82 into an '88 and I had to drill holes. I would think '79-'83 would bolt up. '84-'88 require drilling, which means '89-95 would also require drilling. Tacoma seats are also different. I am not sure about '78 and earlier.

 

Most of the seats are pretty similar throughout 79-95..
You could basically swap in a ton of small car (civic, acura, etc) seats and they'll fit..

I think the Previous owner had some kind of honda seats in it but they where not any i recconized....

They too had a set of holes drilled but also used 2 of the factory holes on each side...
