replaceing head 20r or 22r?

I was going to put a 20r head on my pickup with a 22r I talked with Todd at engnbldr and he said that it would better to just do the oversized valves on my 22r head .also he said that the ventourri effect of the head would better for low to midrange power.

I did some reserch on that and the 20r head has better flow, improving gas milage and tourqe.

Yeah I know I read a lot the stuff about a 22r hybrid but it always kinda sounded like a real cheap way to get some performance. When I talked to the Machinist at Engnbldr he told me that a 22r ported and with OE valves would work out better for low to mid range torque. Plus I called LCEngineering and the stated that a mildly ported 22r head would work just as good if not better then a 20r head.
