I just looked at a 1983 Toyota 4X4 pickup for sale. I always liked the round headlights on the 1980 trucks.
Will the headlights/grille from a 1980 fit on a 1983?

What other parts might I be able to swap?

whats up 89dlx. welcome to the world of 1st gen. Yes the front grille will fit on your 83. Im doing a restoration on an 83 and am thinking of doing the same thing. As far as I can tell there is not a lot of difference in the frame that the grill mounts to. As far as other parts that you might want to swap, they are the same trucks, basically. Swap away.

 

I was just looking at swapping out the grille/headlights. If they don't fit I could just sell them in the classified section.
