Power Steering Conversion?
#2
Grab the p/s parts from another similar engined truck; pump, pulley, reservoir, lines, fittings, etc. Should bolt right up, at least they do on a 22R or 22RE. Not sure if that is the engine you have or not.
On the steering box, two options.
1. Get a box from anything up to 1985 and keep the stock push-pull steering. Box should bolt right up.
2. Convert to crossover steering and then get a box from 1986-1995 and use that instead. Requires some drilling, cutting and welding to install crossover steering.

I just had a 5" lift put on my 85 toyota truck and also added cross over steering with a late model IFS steering box, my truck didn`t come with power steering so i got a power steering pump and hoses off of an 89 two wheel drive truck, i will have to drill a couple of holes to mount the reservoir and the cooler line but other than that everything bolts on.
