Ordering axle rebuild parts and tools.

I'm going to rebuild my front axle for the first time and I'm about to order parts, just wondering if I have it all planned out right. I'm doing the front brakes as well. Here is what I have; knuckle parts kit with bearings, knuckle pull scale, 54mm socket, vented rotors, V6 calipers, brake pads and 1" bore master cylinder. I'm not to sure if I need the rear proportional valve or not or if I should order anything for the hubs. What am I missing?

If you ditch the lspv you'll need to add a manual prop valve.

You might look into a newer model dual diaphragm brake booster while you're at it.

Sorry to hijack. Wab, where do you get a manual prop valve, I've never seen them (didn't know they were out there) and would really like to get one.

Thanks for the advise on the prop valve. I wasn't really sure why they were needed, now I know! What year truck should I look for on the brake booster? This is the first I've heard of it.

You can build your own prop valve setup. Read the Pirate FAQ and hit up Summit Racing.
