Yes, you've never seen these before? They did this to 85 and 86 4x4 trucks as well. Look on Portland Craigslist there is a sick 86 4x4 one on there right now

wow. that's a 78 - totally different body style as the other's i've seen... i've never seen one of those before....

My understanding is that these "super cabs" were NOT a factory item but a reputable aftermarket item. Probalby similar to the pre 4Runner Wolverines etc.

Some had "high back" cabs. 4x4 versions have been spotted as well.

I also have seen a 79 era pickup with a small "winnebago" rear part on a 4x4 chassis.

Dont forget the original Toyota 4x4s which were 2WD conversions with a DANA front axle....

I have seen this and the Wolverine as well and I know a guy who has 2 trucks that are the winnebago type,one is the 81 or 82 type and he daily drives a 85 type as well.He had a 83 with a diesel but he rolled it in Vermont so he is thinking of rebuilding it,not sure what to do though,his diesel runs on veggie oil and is 4x4 as well as the 85.These things must be great for
