No offens to the 4runner owners

This will be deleted I'm sure. I am always seeing these posts like "well, on my 4runner I did this", " My 4runner doesn't do that" This is the Pre 84 trucks forum. I am not trying to dis the 4runner I love all toyotas and would love to have a 1st gen 4runner, but when A guy/gal asks a question about a 1st gen truck he/she wants an answer dealing with a 1st gen truck.

I agree, This is the Pre-84 Section, not 84+

what would be great to also see is a pre84 for trucks/parts for sale (I know this OFF TOPIC) but it would be nice to look for stuff for sale in just pre84 and not all of years

no matter what forum you go to, there is always people that don't read the complete heading to the forums so they post in the wrong section.

Well YT should have 4Runners and Pick-up's in two different sections rather than in one REGARDLESS of year. What applies to one, 51% does not apply to the other!

Well since we are getting all technical, the 79-83 truck was NOT the first gen truck.

Why dont we have a 75-78 section?

Or a 73-74 section?

Or WHY dont we have a Hilux section, since that was one of the first?

And to REALLY be technical....WHY dont we have a 62-69 Section? I think all you "pre-84" truck owners should create your own section and leave the TRUE first gen (Toyota Stout) owners alone!!

The 4runners and 79-83 trucks are set up very similar, and the Trekker and Wolverine (there is a third, can't think of it) were pre-4runners.

actually I myself have wondered why yotatech does not have a section dealing with trucks built before 1979. I owned a 1977 myself. But honestly, I do get tired of the first-gen 4runner posts in here. Just my two cents, don't mean to offend anybody.
