hey yall I just blocked all my smog stuff off with the LCE kit .now im installing a new weber 32/36 carb on the 1980 Toyota 4x4 it mentions here to use the 2 spacers to raise the throttle quadrant for better alignment to the carb..so I have to mounting plates for the carb are they talking about spacers that go between the mounting plates?does that mean im missing a couple spacers or are they talkin about adjusting the height of the throttle mounting bracket? really wanna get this done any help would be good I hope im not missin more parts.

From the looks of your pictures you're throttle cable mounts on top of your valve cover? If so the spacers they're talking about will not be used for you. If your throttle cable mounted on the intake there are two little spacers to set the bracket up to the height of the carb

There should be two holes immediately behind your carb on the intake for your stock linkage mounts. It looks like the linkage you have has been chopped a bit? I would suggest the toyota linkage adapter from weber and make a spacer for yourself that will mount to those two holes and put your linkage in line with your carb.

i used 5 washers (to cheap to buy an adapter and my washers work just as good), two closest to the block and 3 on the carb side of the bracket.
