New to forum, with new truck and questions

Hello all,

When i was younger i owned a 1979 4x4 toyota, and i had always wished i never got rid of that truck, well recently i was able to purchase a new to me 82, and now i am a very happy Toyota owner again! Here is a pic of the new project, and i have a couple of questions.

First, i purchased the truck with a blown head gasket, so i have tore down the engine and the head is at the machine shop. I was wondering if there was a preffered online source for gaskets? I have found quite a few sources online but have yet to find one source that has all what i need.

Second, the 2 gaskets that i seem to have the hardest time finding are the 2 that are underneath the intake manifold, the first is for the heater unit in the intake manifold, and the second is for the plate on the bottom of the intake manifold that seals up the coolant system, anyone have any luck finding these gaskets?

Thanks in advance, this site looks great and i've learned alot so far, hopeing to have this old girl running soon enough!

Nice looking truck! Welcome to Yotatech.

Try engnbldr.com, or Rock. Even the Toyota dealership should have those gaskets, though.
