My toy mostly done

This is my 82 that i have been working on since summer. Its been hard and spendy for me. I learned a bit about my truck and what not to do. Its not finished yet but now its drivable and im happy. the front driveline is a cross between a '84 and my stock driveline, its still being built. I am not a Toyota mechanic, just a kid with a truck and wanted a lift. this was very difficult for me. i had a little help over the phone. my friends are pretty jealous and im pretty proud to have done the work myself.

This is the truck when i bought it

After The lift

I got a little un focused when i cut out these holes in the fenders and made them both a little big. not to worry, i put a tough rubber conveyor mat over and riveted it down to cover these.

I actually want to build a flat bed. with a head ache rack and a place for my propane tank under it. but i am enlisted in the army and am leaving in july. this truck is going to my younger brother, unfortunately, i would rather sell it to someone who will use it and wheel it. not break it all to he!!.

This is where i'm from. Im 10 minutes from victory drive. They have cleaned it up a buttload and it's no longer the trashy place it used to be.

What is the setup in the rear leaf pack? Looks like there is quite a combination back there. Any specs on the lift? Truck looks really good.

the leafs are from all pro. front and rear 5". 6" long shackles (2" longer than stock). new hangers front and rear. and 1" body (helped fit parts in). it sits about 9 or 10" taller than it did b4. im having troubles with the front drive line. too steep for it and i have 4 degree shims. im going to get bigger shims and put 5" shackles on in front. the axle on it is bent too. i have a new one which im modifying now. and for the bumpers, i just got my tubes so ill start bending soon. our company just got a new tube bender. the same one off extreme 4x4. its slick

Nice truck and again, thanks for your service. I was Navy for almost 10 years. Hopefully your bro won't trash it.
