well if you can see it you best belive it CRACK lol so this is what I find after replacing the blow oil pan gasket that I thought was sparying oil on my exhuast well it was but this had its factor in it two. now my bro who works with small engine all day every bay says that REAL STEEL should hold it it ain't to big but you can stick a razor blade knife in it. so what do ya'll think Obama engineer it or get a used block now and rebuild. cheapest way please. I'm broke but I know people that can get a complete motor for 200.

Take a dreamel tool and mat a grove on th crack and go like a inch to the top and bottom of the crack don't have to be deep just a small grove clean the area up some brake cleaner works best and applie the stuff I checked we used water weld cause the temp rating on it was 500 degree but make sure it in the crack good and there's no such thing as to much

20r/22r hybrid Maybe?

well got the crack on the block fixed but just bought 2 not one but 2 22rs for 100 one is togather but will be rubilt and one was took apart to be rebuilt but never was. Im wonting to know if i can do the hybrid with this engine they are both the same but they look like the 85s (squared valve cover) and wont to do the hybird but think the engine is to newer.

there is the one thats all togather but going to do it with the one apart they are both the same motor.

judging by the valve cover those are too new you need early 84 or older which will have a rounded valve cover.
