Hello all please help me the pin above my flywheel in the back of my motor that fits into the bell housing. it looks like there are grooves in it but that is from a pair of vice grips trying to twist it out I need to know how to get it out.

 

You should post this in the regular Pre-84 trucks section, not the Pre-84 build up section.

It is a press fit alignment pin. It helps align the block to the trans.
why do you want it out?
