LSPV Bleeder Valve

Where is the bleed valve on the lspv? I've read you want to get it when you do the brakes.

So I removed the spare tire to climb under there (roomy) and inspect lspv. Could not find any sort of bleeder, do I want to loosen the lines while applying brake pressure? I've seen pictures of other lspvs with a clear view of bleeder. Couldn't find any info in fsm about bleeding it, do I need to on an 83 pickup? Want to bleed the system proper, but this has got me stuck. Any info or pictures would be appreciated.

I don't recall there being a bleeder on mine either. I believe that if there are some with bleeders on them they're on the later gen trucks and 4runners that had a return line from the LSPV that went back to the front brakes.
I always just bled from back to front. Longest run to shortest from master.
Hope this helps if you haven't already figured it out.

Thanks Bingle, that's what I ended up doing, new brake pads, rear drum adjustment, and a thorough bleeding have made a world of difference. Glad to know I'm not the only one sans bleeder on their lspv.

Can anyone else confirm whether or not there is a bleed-valve on the pre-84 lspv? I'm still curious.
