interesting 1st Gen Conversion

Sorry for the cross posting but thought the first Gen crowd would like this thing:

Here is something that I found on Pirate4x4 while on my break at work this morning. Kind of a long box trekker/trailblazer type conversion. I sure haven't seen one of these, but evidently there are a few running around:

The headroom would be nice, but the thing is kind of fugly...

Its actually not that bad looking, I think instead of the raised seats back there though, that if I had that conversion, I would just do an expedition type sleeping area back there...

I wonder if those are the elusive Wolverine conversions. I have seen pictures of the Trekker and Trailblazer conversions, but not the Wolverine.
And you even got a Trekker. Have you shown these to slacker yet?
Thanks for posting those pics. Got any more?

I know I'd probably buy one if I could.

Good find ocdropzone.

I believe that's actually a Trailblazer. That was Okiyota's old truck. I saw one truck on here a while back that was supposed to be a Wolverine. It was a first gen with a modified camper on the back.

Here's A link to the Wolverine camper conversion. It would be awesome for expedition with some 35's or 36's and 5.71's.

The camper was actually done by Chinook, the 4x4 conversion was done by wolverine..Chinook also did some chevy versions too...

Here is a traditional first gen Chinook 4x4:

I found the pictures of the blue truck in a thread on pirate, original thread is hyperlinked in my first post...

So this is a later version 1st generation based upon the headlights, and no one has ever really paid it much attention before. Interesting, I would like to know what it is if anyone ever figures it out.
