I'm in a fusible link nightmare! HELP
#1
I was retarded and didn't disconnect the battery when I changed the driver side motor mount. What could go wrong, right! Ended up shorting out the mount against the alt. It didn't smoke and was only against the mount for 4-6 sec. Traced the short back to the IC regulator. I found a fried node. After replacing the IC reg I still don't have my radio, taillights, brake lights and dash lights. I've also checked the voltage on both sides of the 'green' connectors at the battery with my voltage meter. I got conductivity thought each green adptor. Someone told me these are fuses, but it seems to be just a plug? I gave them a good tug anyway and they seem fine. I looked under the dash and found two relays, switched them up and there was no difference. Could they both be blown? Checked the wiring from the fuse box to the taillights and it all seems to be good.
